MAPS Charities, a 501(c)(3) organization, applies for grants to supplement the money we receive through our fundraisers. The funds from the following grants help to fulfill the many requests we receive to help Los Angeles area seniors.

Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation
This grant will provide transportation and respite caregiving to seniors and their families in Los Angeles County afflicted with paralysis and other mobility challenges.
The Leo Buscaglia Foundation’s mission is “Building community spirit by helping people to help others”.
Through the Opus Community Foundation, Opus Bank seeks to improve the quality of life for those that are less advantaged in our neighborhoods by providing financial support to nonprofit organizations that make a positive and meaningful impact in our communities.
A non-profit organization established to support other non-profit and charitable organizations through improving quality of life and enriching the communities we serve, providing funds for research and providing services to organizations and families tackling disadvantage.
Gary E. Milgard Family Foundations
Supporting four foundations: Ruth Foundation, Skylight Foundation, Whisper Foundation and Windows of Hope Foundation.
Preferred Bank offers personalized one-on-one service that is often lacking in today’s big banks.
The Charitable Foundation has provided grants to local organizations that promote health, education, community and the environment. Comprised of dedicated agents and employees of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties to have a beneficial and constructive impact on local communities, they also volunteer time and talents to local causes.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles
Based on Jewish values, The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles convenes and leads the community and leverages its resources to assure the continuity of the Jewish people, support a secure State of Israel, care for Jews in need here and abroad, and mobilize on issues of concern to the local community, all with our local, national, and international partners.
The Pfaffinger Foundation’s Community Grants support programs that self-sufficiency among working low income people, with a preference for those utilizing case management. They also support programs related to the needs of Pfaffinger Foundation’s individual clients, such as mid-career job retraining, services for seniors, and credit counseling.
Los Angeles Foundation on Aging
The Los Angeles Foundation on Aging improves the quality of life for older adults and their families in the City of Los Angeles by improving upon and expanding existing services, and supporting new and innovative programs.
